Long-defunct French death metallers MERCYLESS — who are responsible for releasing one of the most underrated death albums of all time in the shape of 1992's "Abject Offerings" — have returned "in a brutal death metal style like in the '90s," according to a press release.
To celebrate the band's reformation, a new collectors' double CD has been made available via Legion Of Death Records. Entitled "In Memory Of Agrazabeth", it features demos and live recordings from the 1988-1993 period.
MERCYLESS is currently working on new material "in a very intense and brutal death metal style, in the vein of 'Abject Offerings'."
