MERAUDER Guitarist SOB Dies

Former MERAUDER guitarist Sob (real name: Javier Carpio) passed away this past weekend at the age of 33. A founding member of the acclaimed New York-based metal/hardcore act, Sob played on all three of the band's albums — 1996's "Master Killer", 1999's "5 Deadly Venoms" and 2003's "Bluetality" — which were released through the Century Media label. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (May 2) at Schafer Funeral Parlor in Brooklyn, NY at 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. (both EST).
