MELECHESH To Perform Live In Israel For First Time In Six Years

April 16, 2004

Israel's MELECHESH will make their first live appearance in their homeland on April 26. Prior to the show, there will be two days of meet-and-greet and in-store signing sessions in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. In addition, the band will be hosts at a national radio station and a TV crew will follow them around. The show itself will be broadcast live on the Internet and the concert stage will be specially decorated, with over 15 armed security guards present to ensure the safety of the band and audience. Bus transport is being arranged from all corners of the country for the gig, which will be recorded for a limited-edition live EP.

In other news, MELECHESH will perform as special guests of IMPALED NAZARENE on May 16 at the Locomotive club in Paris. This show will be MELECHESH's premier appearance in France. Also appearing on the bill are labelmates ARKHON INFAUSTUS and ACT OF GODS. A headlining appearance at the Northern Lights Festival in Canada will follow on June 26.
