MEGAHERZ Bounce Back With New Lineup, Label: Full Song Posted Online

July 12, 2004

After a nearly 1 ½-year break, the German industrial crossover band MEGAHERZ have returned in a big way. A new lineup, label, album and tour are currently in the works. A complete new song, featuring the band's new vocalist, is currently available for listening at the group's web site. Check it out here. More information will be made available soon.

As previously reported, former MEGAHERZ members, Alexx Wesselsky and Noel Pix, recently decided to start a new project that retained all the heavy guitars and pounding bass lines of their old band while incorporating more industrial electronic elements. Calling themselves EISBRECHER ("Ice Breaker"),the group's self-titled debut album reached position No. 13 on the Deutschen Alternative Top 20 (DAT) Chart. "Eisbrecher" was released in the U.S. last month through Dancing Ferret Discs.
