MEGADETH: South American Tour Dates Announced

MEGADETH have announced the following South American dates in October:

Oct. 07 - Santiago, CHL - Chile Stadium
Oct. TBA - Buenos Aires, ARG - Pepsi Music Rock Festival
Oct. 11 - Sao Paulo, BRA - Credicard Hall

MEGADETH's "Greatest Hits: Back to the Start" collection sold 17,441 copies in its first week of release to debut at No. 65 on The Billboard 200 chart. The "Greatest Hits" tracklist, selected by fans in a poll at the band's official website, www.megadeth.com, packs 17 top hits and favorites on a 78-minute single disc, including "Peace Sells", "Symphony of Destruction", "In My Darkest Hour", "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due" and "Sweating Bullets".

Co-headlined by MEGADETH and DREAM THEATER, Dave Mustaine's six-week Gigantour is set to launch in late July. Gigantour will criss-cross North America, with stops in amphitheaters and arenas in cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver and Minneapolis, among others, implementing a "fan friendly" ticket price of approximately $35.
