MEGADETH: Second Mexico City Show Added

MEGADETH's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"A second date has been added in Mexico City. MEGADETH will play a second date on June 19th at Salon 21 in Mexico City. The band is scheduled to headline three shows on the Mexican leg of the 'Tour Of Duty' world tour; two in Mexico City on June 18th and 19th, and another in Monterrey Nuevo Leon on June 21st. Tickets for the second show in Mexico City are on sale Tuesday."

The third installment of the U.S. Gigantour the acclaimed traveling heavy music festival launched in 2005 by MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine officially launched on April 12 in Denver, Colorado with headliner MEGADETH, Swedish metal band IN FLAMES, Finland's CHILDREN OF BODOM, Arizona's modern extreme act JOB FOR A COWBOY and Oakland, California heavy power trio HIGH ON FIRE. The 29-date trek criss-crossed North America and wrapped this past Thursday (May 22) in Phoenix, Arizona.

Metal Injection conducted an interview with MEGADETH's new guitarist Chris Broderick at the band's Worcester stop of the Gigantour. Chris talked in depth about the time he got the call to join MEGADETH, some of his favorite MEGADETH songs, his early influences and guitar playing as well as some of the bands he listens to when on the road.
