MEGADETH's MUSTAINE Says Routing For GIGANTOUR Is Almost Complete

April 24, 2005

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in teh "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"What a weekend! I went up to Seymour Duncan's 30th Anniversary party in Santa Barbara on Friday and man was I blown away! I had no idea that Seymour was such a fantastic guitarist!!!

"Unbelievable!

"I also saw two other artists of Seymour's; George Lynch and a lady named Kat or Cat that was with Prince at one time. George was really good, as was Cat/Kat and there were numerous other unknown players that just got up and jammed. It gave me some great ideas for inviting some of you to a party and jamming with me and the boys.

"Thanks to Seymour and his wife, Kathy, Evan and his wife, and Kellie for making our stay enjoyable and I recommend anyone check into the Seymour Duncan website for reviews as well as his forums to meet some of the players. They really were THAT good.

"Loads of good stuff happened last week that I will tell you about once it is confirmed, and the routing for the Gigantour is almost complete, so we will be announcing the cities very, very soon.

"I am going to go up to L.A. this week, I believe to do some mixing with Lance for the DVD that Kevin Flaherty of EMI is masterminding. This DVD is going to be rad! And there is a slight taste of some stuff on the limited edition bonus CD/DVD that is going to be released this summer on the Greatest Hits record. I finally approved all of the artwork, and am very pleased with the package. I hope you will be too.

"I have a few bands left to listen to this week before I make up my mind for the last slots on the second stage, and we will notify you who they are as soon as we finish it up!

"Droogs, I am having the time of my life with all of this, and I appreciate all of your enthusiasm and all of your suggestions. This will be so kewl!"
