August 24, 2008

On July 10, MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine was at the Guitar Center in Hollywood, California to take part in "Guitar Center Sessions: An Evening of Dialogue and Insight with Dave Mustaine". The free, informal seminar, which was hosted by Full Metal Jackie of Indie 103.1 FM's specialty metal program "Chaos with Full Metal Jackie", was designed to provide informative, provocative conversation and hands-on tutorials and during the afternoon Dave demonstrated some of his classic riffs, offered guitar techniques, discussed his favorite gear (including his signature guitars and Marshall amps),and offered thoughts on marketing, monetizing and touring in today's music business.

GuitarCenterTV has posted high-quality footage of the event on YouTube. You can watch it in nine-parts below.
