MEGADETH Mainman To Host MUCHMUSIC's 'Loud' Tonight

November 11, 2006

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine will be a guest host on tonight's episode of MuchMusic's "Loud". The program airs every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. More information is available at this location.

As previously reported, Dave Mustaine will host next weekend's special edition of "Headbanger's Ball" dedicated to the most-anticipated Xbox 360 game of 2006, Gears of War. Shot on location at Six Flags in Springfield, Massachusetts where gamers gather for a chance to sample video gaming's next big title, the episode will air on Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 p.m. Viewers will also get to see an exclusive performance from MEGADETH of "Gears of War" — a brand new track off their upcoming album.

A video clip of MEGADETH performing "Gears of War" during the "Gears of War - Match Made In Hell" event on Oct. 31 has been posted online at YouTube.com.

MEGADETH has tapped British producer Andy Sneap (NEVERMORE, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, CRADLE OF FILTH) to mix "United Abominations".

"United Abominations" will include a cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "Out on the Tiles", which MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has previously described as one of the CD's highlights. "It could be the best song," he said. "I think it rocks!"
