MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has issued the following update:"I am so excited to know that in less than 48 hours I am going to be jamming with my band and getting ready to start the next world tour. "Even though this bit is really early, we are doing these four shows [in Canada] with SLAYER [referring to the 'Canadian Carnage' tour] in the hopes that the rest of the world will sit up and take notice. "Well... they have. "I'm happy to say that we are starting to talk about upcoming shows with our old friends, and co-founders of the American metal scene and one of the other Four Horsemen, as well as another show or so with pals JUDAS PRIEST, and only Lucretia knows who will be on this year/next year's Gigantours." A six-minute video featuring MEGADETH's British producer Andy "Undie" Sneap (NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY, EXODUS) describing the process of mixing the band's new track "Headcrusher" at his studio in Derbyshire, U.K. can be viewed below. The clip, which was previously only available to members of MEGADETH's official fan club, MegaFanClub, features around 30-second snippet of the actual "Headcrusher" track which will appear on MEGADETH's forthcoming album, set to be released in September via Roadrunner Records. MEGADETH's twelfth studio album was recorded at the band's own Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Nothing Left To Lose But My Mind", "The Hardest Part of Letting Go... Is Saying Goodbye", "Bite The Hand That Feeds", "1320", "How The Story Ends", "This Day We Fight" and "Endgame". MEGADETH's forthcoming LP will be the group's first with guitarist Chris Broderick, who replaced Glen Drover at the end of 2007.
