August 3, 2008

The Live Line, a service launched by MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine that enables musicians to connect to their audience over the phone, has been updated with a new message from Mustaine. Call Dave's The Live Line number at (866) 597-MEGA and get frequent updates from Mustaine himself. This weekend, Dave talks about meeting up with his record label and discussing the new record, starting construction of the new studio and more.

MEGADETH is tentatively scheduled to begin recording its new album in fall.

The band's latest CD, "United Abominations", was released in May 2007 via Roadrunner Records and has sold around 160,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
