MEGADETH: 'Greatest Hits' CD And 'DVD From Hell' On The Way

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"This week is going to be a very busy one. I am arranging to have two of our state-of-the-art crew come out and stay at my house while we go over the lockers of touring gear and my personal studio stuff.

"This is so that we can repair and replace all of the damage done on the 'Killing Road'. That and I am getting ready to set my studio up so I can start writing again.

"I have a load of traveling to do the next two weeks: tomorrow at 6:00 AM to San Diego airport to head back out to Phoenix to record the vocal track over the kids of 'Rock School''s version of 'Peace Sells' and then back late at night to Fallbrook.

"Then I have a meeting in L.A. with management about the next year's business, the U.K./Euro tour, the Pacific Rim tour, the Summer tour, with EMI to go over the 'Greatest Hits' CD they wanna put out, the 'DVD From Hell' they wanna put out. Then there are meetings with publishing companies that are interested in my services as a publisher, not that my deal was completely fulfilled and honored.

"Then there is the NAMM ESP 30th anniversary party, the signings the next day, and [son] Justis is actually going with me to visit the San Dimas booth where he has an endorsement from (although he is just a beginner),film the video, and just hang out with y'all as much as possible.

"Lastly, a meeting with my agent to say hello and tell him how awesome he is!

"There is going to be a ton of my old studio and touring stuff that I have decided (or it decided for me) to part from. Any and all photos will be put up at the MEGADETH site so that you will know it all is legit.

"Hope this excites ya a little bit about what is coming the end of this winter."
