MEGADETH's DAVE MUSTAINE To Play Special Acoustic Charity Show In Boston

October 24, 2016

Music Drives Us has announced that Dave Mustaine of MEGADETH will play on Friday, December 16 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. This is a once-in-a-lifetime acoustic show where Dave will not only perform the band's hits, but also holiday classics.

A limited number of tickets is available. Music Drives Us is also offering exclusive VIP tickets that include an eat-and-greet with Dave prior to the show. All of the proceeds from this special event will support Music Drives Us and their mission of keeping music in New England schools.

MEGADETH's tour with AMON AMARTH, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, METAL CHURCH and BUTCHER BABIES kicked off on September 20 in Casper, Wyoming.

MEGADETH is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Dystopia", which came out in January.

A few years ago, Mustaine funded a soup kitchen in Haiti. He stated at the time: "I really am trying to live my life differently today, and part of that was in finding something to believe in.

"One of the things that has happened since I started this transformation is getting involved with helping widows and orphans, and helping the homeless...

"I was approached with an opportunity, and thanks to your unwavering support, my family and I have been able to fund a soup kitchen in Haiti with a ministry called Outside The Bowl."
