MEGADETH: DAVE MUSTAINE Makes Studio Available For Recording

According to an online posting by MEGADETH's official webmaster Dave McRobb, MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine's studio will be available for editing and recording until second edition of Gigantour begins later this year. "Dave and I just talked more about it and I will be putting up a page this week at Megadeth.com with full description and details," McRobb writes.

As previously reported, Mustaine announced at the conclusion of the band's headlining performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9, 2005 that the group's current lineup — which includes James MacDonough (ex-ICED EARTH),drummer Shawn Drover (EIDOLON) and guitarist Glen Drover (EIDOLON) — will continue to record and tour under the name MEGADETH.

MEGADETH last fall completed a South American tour in support of "The System Has Failed", which came out in September 2004. The latest MEGADETH release, "Greatest Hits: Back to the Start" (Capitol),entered the Billboard chart at No. 65 and has sold 129,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
