MASTODON To Support TOOL In Europe

Atlanta's MASTODON has reportedly been confirmed as the support band for the entire TOOL European tour. A list of upcoming TOOL dates can be found at Toolshed.down.net.

MASTODON's "Blood Mountain" sold over 24,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release — significantly more than the 8,000 first-week tally registered by its predecessor, 2004's "Leviathan" — to land at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart.

As previously reported, "Blood Mountain" album will receive a vinyl release via Relapse on October 3. The LP will be released on with expanded artwork and in a range of limited-edition vinyl colors.
