MASTODON's 'Greasy Hair' And 'Rat Tails' Fail To Impress E!'s 'Fashion Police'

E!'s "Fashion Police" slammed the Atlanta, Georgia-based metal band MASTODON for sporting "greasy hair" and "rat tails" during their appearance at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this past Sunday (February 11). Watch the 28-second clip at

MASTODON was nominated in the "Best Metal Performance" category at the 49th annual Grammy Awards for its song "Colony if Birchmen". The track comes off the group's latest album, "Blood Mountain", which has sold 88,000 copies in the United States since its release in early September, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

MASTODON is in the middle of a U.S. tour with CONVERGE and PRIESTESS.
