According to Billboard.com, MASTODON and ANDREW W.K. are among the acts that have been tapped for the soundtrack to the upcoming Adult Swim film, "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters". Slated for an April 13 release via Williams Street, the compilation will feature sound bites from the movie, plus a cover of the Cartoon Network's "Aqua Teen" theme song crafted by rap veteran SCHOOLLY D. All tracks are previously unreleased material, with exception of the HOLD STEADY's "Girls Like Status".

The animated movie is the network's first film release from its Adult Swim programs and is set to premiere April 13 via First Look Pictures.

MASTODON will hit the road for a series of small club tour dates, kicking off on March 19 at the White Rabbit in San Antonio. As previously reported, the group is also scheduled to perform at this year's South By Southwest Music Festival.
