MASSEMORD Completes Recording New Album

Italian black metal band MASSEMORD has finished recording its new, self-titled album for a late October release. The effort will be released in three different formats: jewel case, digipak and digibook. The cover illustration is being created by Njard (from "the pagan front"), who was responsible for all ABSURD CD covers.

On September 1, the album's first single, "Dark Essence Lifeless", will be made available for streaming on the band's official MySpace page.

Lord Hastur Warmachine recently announced his departure from MASSEMORD, the black metal project he formed in 1993. After 15 years and five albums, Lord Hastur Warmachine decided to part ways with "his creature, leaving this inheritance in Der Henker's hands, the Italian former singer," according to a press release.
