MARY BEATS JANE: New Single Coming Soon

August 7, 2005

MARY BEATS JANE, the reunited Swedish band featuring THE HAUNTED frontman Peter Dolving, will release a brand-new seven-inch single through Danish label Futhermocker. The two-song single — featuring the tracks "Weasel" and "Scarecrow" — will be issued on a brick-heavy (70 grams) format, engraved and strictly limited to 200 hand-numbered copies. It is available for pre-order for 8 euros / 6 pounds (Europe) or $10 USD (elsewhere) (including shipping and handling) from www.futhermocker.dk/mock-ups.

MARY BEATS JANE released two acclaimed full-length albums in the mid-'90s — 1994's self-titled effort and its 1996 follow-up, "Locust" — before fading away while the members of the group pursued a variety of other projects, including Dolving's highly energized stint with THE HAUNTED on their 1998 self-titled debut (he has since rejoined the group on a full-time basis) and the singer's solo project, PETER DOLVING BAND.
