MARTRIDEN Proclaims Its 'Independence'

July 28, 2009

Montana-based blackened death metal group MARTRIDEN has issued the following update:

"MARTRIDEN is now independent! We are no longer affiliated with SOAR or Candlelight and are proud to announce that tracking of our new CD, 'Encounter the Monolith', is complete. Dave Otero of Flatline Audio is currently mixing/mastering. We are quite pleased with our progress and feel this is our best work to date. We have extremely high personal standards and know you all will be pleased as well."

"Encounter the Monolith" consists of six songs and an approximate running time of 50 minutes. The band previously said about the new album, "We feel it contains some of the most brutal, epic, and perhaps most importantly, the most interesting bits of music we've put together. We are confident that it is the best collection of songs we've composed!"

"Encounter the Monolith" track listing:

01. The Three Metamorphoses
02. Heywood R. Floyd
03. Discovery
04. Human Error?
05. Encounter The Monolith
06. Death and Transfiguration

More informatrion will be made available soon.

MARTRIDEN's debut full-length album, "The Unsettling Dark", was released by Siege of Amida and Candlelight Records.
