'Marshall Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards': Report, Photos, Video Footage Available

Slash, AC/DC, RUSH and Ronnie James Dio are among the musicians who were honored at at this year's Marshall Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards, which was held last night (Wednesday, November 10) at London, England's Roundhouse venue. Alice Cooper hosted the event, which featured live performances for the first time in its six-year history, from ALTER BRIDGE, CHEAP TRICK and THE UNION.

Slash said his award for his self-titled solo album was "a huge honor," according to BBC News. Meanwhile, AC/DC's Brian Johnson sent a video message from Australia for the group's "Band Of The Year" accolade. "We never take any of this for granted," he told the audience. "Have a drink on us."

Ronnie James Dio's widow Wendy collected the "Tommy Vance Inspiration" award, Saying she aimed to raise $10 million for a cancer charity in Dio's name, Wendy Dio urged all men to make sure they had regular check-ups.
