MARKY RAMONE To Team Up With TARAKANY! For European Tour

December 8, 2004

Punk legend Marky Ramone (RAMONES) has once again teamed up with Russia's best-known punk band, TARAKANY!, for a 16-date European tour featuring RAMONES classics as well as original TARAKANY! material. Called the "Ramones Night" tour, the night will first feature TARAKANY! playing a set of songs from their last two albums. The second half of each show, Marky Ramone will join TARAKANY! on drums and will feature classic RAMONES songs.

TARAKANY!'s tenth album — their first to be released worldwide — "Freedom Street", has just been released on Zurich Chainsaw Massacre Records. Their eleventh album, "Rockets from Russia", is coming straight on the heels of "Freedom Street" and is being released on FM Molchit Records with exclusive distribution outside of Russia by ZCM Records.

This isn't the first time Marky Ramone and TARAKANY! have worked together. In 2003, they teamed up as MARKY RAMONE AND THE PINHEAD ARMY for three shows in Russia.
