MARKY RAMONE'S BLITZKRIEG: European Tour Dates Announced

Legendary drummer Marky Ramone of the RAMONES has announced the first string of tour dates with his new project MARKY RAMONE'S BLITZKRIEG, also featuring Michale Graves (ex-MISFITS) on vocals, Alex Kane (ANTIPRODUCT) on guitar and Clare (ANTIPRODUCT) on bass. Their set will consist of all the RAMONES classics which led to Marky's induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Confirmed dates so far:

Nov. 26 - La Gabbia - Padova, Italy
Nov. 27 - SKC (Student Cultural Center) - Belgrade, Serbia
Nov. 29 - Taksirat X Festival - Skopje, Macedonia
Dec. 01 - B-Side - Cosenza. Italy
Dec. 04 - [to be announced] - Rome, Italy
Dec. 05 - Mylos Club - Salonica, Greece
Dec. 06 - 2nd Screamin' Athens Horror Festival (Gagarin) - Athens, Greece

In other news, Marky Ramone and Hilfiger Denim will launch their first clothing line consisting of leather jackets, jeans and t-shirts. The line will hit stores early 2009.

A documentary entitled "The Job That Ate My Brain: The Marky Ramone Story" consisting of clips of over 40 interviews with various artists, bandmembers and people that have been close to Marky throughout his career is currently in the works.

Marky was recently inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. His friend, drummer Carmine Appice, accepted the award on Marky's behalf.
