MARIONETTE To Support DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER In Europe

Swedish metal sextet MARIONETTE has been confirmed as one of the support acts for Germany DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER on the Reiterfestspiele Tour in October/November. The trek will cover Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Switzerland and will feature additional support from MUSTASCH and HONIGDIEB.

MARIONETTE bassist Mikael Mendin commented: "[The Reiterfestspiele Tour] is going to be our first tour on the European continent in support of [the debut MARIONETTE album] 'Spite' and we cannot think of anyone better to hit up Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Switzerland with than the mighty DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER! "Spite" was released in Europe on April 28 via Listenable Records. The CD was recorded with producers Simon Exner and two-time Swedish Grammis award winner Åke Parmerud in Borås, Sweden. "Spite" was mixed and mastered by Christian Silver at Studio Mega (SONIC SYNDICATE, BY NIGHT) in Varberg, Sweden.

"Burn Me", the new video from MARIONETTE, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in December 2007 at Meeths in Gothenburg with Robert Karlsson, who works with acclaimed Swedish video director Patrick Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR).
