MARIONETTE Filming Gothenburg Concert For Possible DVD

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet MARIONETTE has issued the following update:

"We have been working really hard on making the release show on 3 May at Meeths in Gothenburg to be a special experience for everyone! We will have a film team led by Hans Andersson at the gig to shoot the whole set for some possible DVD footage! Hans has worked with us many times in the past, recording live shows and such, so we expect great things! 'Spite' and all of our merch will be sold at the gig and we will have a meet and greet with everyone at the gig during the course of evening. We expect a packed venue, so be sure to show up early to be in front! Additionally, ETHEREAL, Simon Exner's band, will be opening, so that is another great reason to show up early! There will be many surprises and great times throughout the evening, and we hope that the DVD shooting will allow those who cannot attend to enjoy the gig as much as possible!"

MARIONETTE's debut album, "Spite", was released in Europe on April 28 via Listenable Records. The CD was recorded with producers Simon Exner and two-time Swedish Grammis award winner ke Parmerud in Bors, Sweden. "Spite" was mixed and mastered by Christian Silver at Studio Mega (SONIC SYNDICATE, BY NIGHT) in Varberg, Sweden.

"Burn Me", the new video from MARIONETTE, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in December 2007 at Meeths in Gothenburg with Robert Karlsson, who works with acclaimed Swedish video director Patrick Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR).
