MANDY LION To Release 'Get Some' Single

February 26, 2013

Vocalist Mandy Lion (WORLD WAR III, WICKED ALLIANCE) will release a new single, "Get Some", on March 26 via HighVolMusic (HVM). Additional singles will follow throughout the year, each one of them containing unique artwork and becoming part of a larger concept project.

As previously reported, Jimmy Bain (DIO, RAINBOW),Roy Z (HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON, JUDAS PRIEST) and Lez Warner (THE CULT) are collaborating with Lion on his new material.

Mandy will play select dates in March before heading out on tour later this year.

Lion is best known for his work with WORLD WAR III, which also included Bain, Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) and Tracy G. (DIO). The band produced several videos and toured extensively, headlining and opening for such acts as IRON MAIDEN and ANTHRAX. Appice would eventually be replaced by James Kottak (SCORPIONS, KINGDOM COME) and Mikkey Dee (KING DIAMOND, MOTÖRHEAD).

Fast forward to 2013, Lion is solo and better than ever ready to take the world by storm. Pure no-nonsense hard rock with no compromise. Sexy, dark, aggressive and captivating, like no other. His recent sold-out performances at the House of Blues and Key Club in Hollywood, California more than solidified that Lion is back and taking no prisoners.
