MACHINE HEAD Finish Recording New Song

March 18, 2004

MACHINE HEAD and longtime mix-master Colin Richardson have wrapped up production of a brand new track this week, to be included on the upcoming North American release of their new album, "Through The Ashes Of Empires", scheduled to hit stores on April 20. The new song, titled "Seasons Wither", will be added to the new release of the record as Track No. 8, between "Vim" and "All Falls Down", but will not be included on album advances. Guitarist Phil Demmel says: "It's definitely the fastest tune on the disc now, showing off our killer drummer," adding that "the mood of the song blends nicely with the balance of the record... it nestles in naturally."

As previously reported, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY and GOD FORBID will be hitting the road together this spring for the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" tour, a monster outing that is currently set to attack most major U.S. cities in its path starting this April and continuing on into May.
