MACABRE: First DVD Due In June

Season of Mist has set a June 2 release date for "murder metallers" MACABRE's first DVD, entitled "Live in Holland – True Tales of Slaughter and Slaying". The disc contains multi-camera footage shot during the "Murder Metal" tour on August 26, 2005 at the Bibelot in Dordrecht, Holland and will be released in a special deluxe metalpak.

As previously reported, MACABRE have been announced as the headliners of the Central Illinois Metalfest, set to take place July 20-22 at The Canopy Club In Urbana, IL (including a pre-fest show at Canopy Club on July 20 featuring 6-7 bands). Also scheduled to appear are ORIGIN, HUMAN ARTIFACTS and DOMINATION THROUGH IMPURITY, among many others.
