MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer Abused Wife For 10 Years (The National Enquirer)

May 29, 2002

This next story comes to us courtesy of the "usually-very-reliable" The National Enquirer:

Actress Heidi Mark claims that her rocker husband Vince Neil was a shameless cheat and a vicious drunk who once beat her so badly her breast implant EXPLODED!

An attorney for Vince Neil said it was Vince who suffered abuse at Heidi's hands, not the other way around, but Heidi insists that her husband beat her so badly that she underwent three operations to repair the damage.

After dating for three months, Heidi says she began to see Vince's dark side. "He'd hit or slap me across the face or pull my hair," Heidi said. "The next morning he'd be remorseful and say, 'I love you'. I was young and stupid and I'd forgive him."

Heidi says Vince went into rehab four times but the abuse continued. In one fight, she says he struck her so viciously in the chest that her breast implant broke. Another time, she says, Neil "got up and punched me so hard in the head that I still have a lump of scar tissue".

In another shocking incident, Heidi says Neil kicked her in the stomach in a posh Beverly Hills restaurant. "I walked up to the table and for no reason he kicked me sideways—like Jackie Chan. I went flying."

Heidi spilt with Neil several times, but he'd apologize and promise to reform and she'd take him back again. In 1995 Heidi said things hit a new low when she caught Neil making out with a pal's girlfriend at the funeral of his own four-year-old daughter Skylar, who died of stomach cancer! "When I found him, his face was covered with red lipstick—and we were at the funeral!

"What do you do, start a fight? He wouldn't leave. So I did--and the girl ended up at his house."

Heidi claims Vince cheated with everyone in sight, even after they were married in May 2000. She once went through Vince's Palm Pilot and found dozen's of women's phone numbers. "He had three girlfriends," Heidi said. "And friends later told me he was cheating on his girlfriends with other girlfriends!"

Heidi says the last straw was when she discovered that Vince had taken his assault riffle out of the closet and put it under their bed, and a friendly cop advised her to get out of town. "I now fear for my life," Heidi said in an application for a restraining order against Neil shortly after she filed for divorce in August 2001.

Heidi's claims are outrageous", Vince Neil's attorney says. "She's the one who physically and mentally abused Vince. Heidi had a wild temper and threw things at Vince, including heavy ashtrays that could have caused serious injury. These statements she's made against my client are simply defamatory".
