LYDIA LASKA: New Video Posted Online

October 28, 2007

Norwegian punk rockers LYDIA LASKA have released the video for their song "Love and Penetration", a track taken from their latest release "We're Nothing Compared To Ourselves". Providing guest vocals on the track are Emil Nikolaisen (SERENA MANEESH) and former MAYHEM frontman Maniac (SKITLIV). Watch the clip below.

Directed by the band and Thomas Lunde of Trøbbel Film, "Love and Penetration" will be aired on Norwegian television, unlike the band's previous clip for "White Trash Attack" which was reportedly "banned." In fact, the station has asked to be the first to broadcast it. Commented drummer Voldswagen: "We're not really sure when it's due to go out, and most probably we won't know when it has gone out unless someone tells us. The band don't actually have TVs!"

LYDIA LASKA, notorious for its stage performances, will be taking a break from live appearances for the rest of the year to give cross-dressing frontman Candy Whorehole a chance to enter rehab. The band will, however, continue to concentrate on promoting "We're Nothing Compared To Ourselves" and preparing for the new album which promises to be even more grim and strange than their previous releases.

Both "Love and Penetration" and the banned "White Trash Attack" together with tracks from the new release can be found on the band's MySpace page.
