LULLACRY: Vocal Recording Sessions Complete

May 6, 2005

LULLACRY frontwoman Tanja Lainio (photo) has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the follow-up to 2003's "Crucify My Heart":

"Hello, my sweet fans, and everybody else, too!!!

"Believe it or not, I have done all my vocals...! I have to say that this session has been really hard for me, but now I feel great! All songs totally rock and that's really satisfying. Anssi Kippo has done a great job! He has done EVERYTHING that I would feel comfortable and relaxed (Thank you very much, Anssi!)

"Tomorrow Heikki from TWILIGHTNING will enter to Astia studio and add some backing vocals to make songs even better! Also we have to do some additional guitars, programming and stuff, you know. After that album is finally ready!!!!!!!!"

LULLACRY fourth full-length album is tentatively due early September via Spinefarm Records. A new single, "Stranger In You", featuring a cover of KISS' "I Stole Your Love", will precede the album in the summer.

LULLACRY issued a five-song EP, "Fire Within", last August, featuring two new songs ("Fire Within" and "The #1 Rebel"),two remakes of classic LULLACRY tracks, as well as a cover version of W.A.S.P.'s "L.O.V.E. Machine".
