LOSA Sign With METAL BLADE RECORDS

May 11, 2004

Dallas-based metalcore outfit LOSA have officially signed with Metal Blade Records. The band are currently focusing on writing material for their new album and will be taking a break from playing live shows to focus all of their time and energy on writing the best album possible. However, LOSA might book a show or two prior to entering the studio to perform their new material. As far as what to expect from the new album, "it will consist of all new material, with the exception of the last 'song' of their current set (tentatively titled 'Naked and Fallen/Her Own Birthright')," according to an official press release. "THIS WILL NOT BE YOUR TYPICAL 'METAL' ALBUM!!!"

Brian Slagel, Owner/CEO Metal Blade Records, commented: "We are very excited to working with LOSA and BassManagement and welcome them to the Metal Blade family!"

The band added: "Signing with Metal Blade is nothing short of a dream come true! To be a part of the Metal Blade family is both an honor and a privilege. We would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible and look forward to adding to the legacy that is Metal Blade."

LOSA are:

Christopher Ramirez - guitar
Kory Koch - guitar
Michael Hall - vocals
Joshua Urista - bass
David Hall - drums
