LORDI Confirmed For Finland's SAUNA OPEN AIR Festival, New CD Details Revealed

Finnish "monster metal" band LORDI have been have been confirmed for the post-festival party at this year's Sauna Open Air festival, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 11 in Tampere, Finland. Performing as part of the main event are NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DIABLO, FINNTROLL and THUNDERSTONE. Also appearing at the post-festival party will be TAROT, MY FATE and SWALLOW THE SUN. HELLOWEEN, TWILIGHTNING and DREAMTALE will perform at Tampere's Pakkahuone venue (capacity 1,500) the next day (Saturday, June 12).

In related news, LORDI will release their second album, "The Monsterican Dream", on April 14. The CD was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (H.I.M., SENTENCED, AMORPHIS) and contains the following track listing:

Two versions of the CD will be released: the basic album version, plus an album with the short movie "Lordi's The Kin" included as a bonus DVD. Both albums are enhanced versions with the "Blood Red Sandman" video included. The album will be the DVD will be for adults (18 years of age+) only. The first single from "The Monsterican Dream", "My Heaven Is Your Hell", will be released on March 31.
