LOCH VOSTOK Part Ways With Keyboardist, Announce Replacement

December 30, 2005

LOCH VOSTOK, who call themselves "Sweden's most extreme progressive metal act," have parted ways with keyboardist Andreas Lindahl. "[Andreas] quit LOCH VOSTOK," the group write in a statement. "Too bad but he lives so far away from where we reside, at least a six-hour drive, even if I'm driving :) His successor is Fredrik Klingwall, a great keyboardist and composer, currently in GOATSODOMIZER and ANIMA MORTE. Here's a big cheerz to Andreas, we'll miss you, you crazy son-of-a-zappa, and here's a big cheerz to Fredrik, welcome onboard you crazy son-of-a-goat."

LOCH VOSTOK and SECRET SPHERE will be supporting KING DIAMOND on the Scandinavian leg of his upcoming European tour, set to take place in late April 2006.

LOCH VOSTOK are currently seeking a label to release their already completed sophomore album, "Loch Vostok and Two Smoking Barrels". The CD was recorded at Blueflame Productions in Uppsala, Sweden by vocalist/guitarist Teddy Möller and guitarist Niklas Kupper. The group's debut album, "Dark Logic", was released in 2004 by Magnetism Records.
