LO-PRO To Release New Album In May

March 9, 2010

LO-PRO, the project featuring former ULTRASPANK members Pete Murray (vocals) and Neil Godfrey (guitar),along with ex-GODSMACK drummer Tommy Stewart, will release its long-awaited sophomore full-length album, "The Beautiful Sounds of Revenge", on May 25. In the meantime, the band will keep fans satisfied by making its first single, "Alive", available digitally on March 30.

LO-PRO's journey began when Murray and Godfrey's first demo got them signed to STAIND mainman Aaron Lewis's vanity label 413 Records. A promising 2003 self-titled debut yielded a bona fide radio hit ("Sunday") and riveting acoustic gigs with Lewis. Fast-forward several years, and LO-PRO are back with a vengeance on the follow-up effort, which is described in a press release as "easily one of the most addictive and passionate mainstream rock records of the year."
