LIZZY BORDEN Frontman Promises 'Special Set' For BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Appearance

June 24, 2008

Long-running California metallers LIZZY BORDEN will perform at the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany on Saturday, June 28.

Commented the band's frontman/namesake: "It's been nine years since we played the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Germany. We've got a special set planned for the festival encompassing songs from each LIZZY BORDEN release, as well as a few songs that we have not had in the set for years. It's going to be a special show for us to come back to Germany with our brand of American metal, and yes, oh yes, there will be blood!"

LIZZY BORDEN has posted a video postcard (see below) of the band's performance at this year's Sweden rock festival. The 1:37 second clip features an in-store appearance/meet-and-greet, a photo shoot with Sweden's own Micke Johansson, as well as LIZZY BORDEN live on stage performing at the festival.

LIZZY BORDEN's latest album, "Appointment with Death", was released in the U.S. on October 30, 2007 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was produced by Lizzy and Joey Scott. It was recorded at the Zanzibar studios in North Hollywood, California and was mixed by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL) at Mana studio in Florida.
