LIZZY BORDEN: BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Video Postcard Available

July 15, 2008

California metal veterans LIZZY BORDEN have posted a video postcard (see below) of the band's June 28, 2008 performance at this year's Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer features clips of the band on stage in front of 15,000 people performing two shows in one day, making friends in the signing tent, as well as candid moments backstage.

Austrian heavy 'zine Stormbringer.at conducted an interview with LIZZY BORDEN after the band's Bang Your Head!!! performance. Watch the 12-minute chat below.

LIZZY BORDEN last month became the first band to ever play two shows in one day at the Bang Your Head!!! festival. The group performed its regularly scheduled set on June 28 with a blood-soaked theatrical production on a perfect sunny day in front of an audience of 15,000. As the band left the stage drained and bloodstained, they were greeted by Bang Your Head!!! promoter Horst Franz who congratulated them on the amazing response. He also told them that one of the bands had cancelled their show for later that day to which LIZZY BORDEN frontman/namesake replied, "We'll take the slot!" Horst called him a "madman" and said, "You got it!"

LIZZY BORDEN's latest album, "Appointment with Death", was released in the U.S. on October 30, 2007 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was produced by Lizzy and Joey Scott. It was recorded at the Zanzibar studios in North Hollywood, California and was mixed by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL) at Mana studio in Florida.
