LIMP BIZKIT To Play Free European Gigs

May 14, 2003

LIMP BIZKIT are planning on making up their recently cancelled European dates in late August once they have completed work on their new album, currently titled "Panty Sniffer".

"We hate to disappoint any of our fans, so we want to come back to Europe as soon as we can," said LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst in an official statement.

Besides key festival dates, BIZKIT promise to be adding some surprise free events to the August/September schedule in order to show European fans their appreciation. "The fans in Europe have been so good to us we want to give them something back, and since ticket prices are so high these days and worldwide everybody's economy sucks, we think some free concerts are in order," said Durst.

Details on BIZKIT's August festival schedule and free shows will follow in the next few weeks.

LIMP BIZKIT's new CD is currently slated for release in early September through Flip/Interscope Records. It is the group's first to feature new guitarist Mike Smith (ex-SNOT),who replaced Wes Borland last year.
