LIMP BIZKIT's DURST Lip-Synchs To MODERN ENGLISH Hit: Video Available

March 20, 2004

LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst has posted a hilarious video of himself lip-synching to the 1982 MODERN ENGLISH hit "I Melt With You" while dancing in the street. The clip was filmed last year while in Southeast Asia. Download the Quicktime file at this location (file size approximately 29 MB).

Said Durst: "For all the people who have taken the time to download the 30MB 'Melt with You' movie, made with my iPod and iMovie, I hope you have had a few good laughs from it. I made this movie on one of my days off. I was dancing in the streets, singing, and acting a fool with no one paying any attention to me. It was amazing!! I have always loved this song by MODERN ENGLISH and whenever I hear it, I get such a great feeling inside that I have to dance. I really love the 80's and have been influenced by a lot of things the 80's had to offer. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and get a couple more giggles out of it. Sometimes you just gotta say, 'What the fuck' and have some fun regardless of what anyone else thinks."

After LIMP BIZKIT's European trek concludes at the end of the month, the band are slated to play a pair of shows in South Africa in early April before heading home.
