LIMP BIZKIT Frontman Gets In The Studio With COLD

March 21, 2003

LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst recently produced a track for COLD, entitled "Check Please", which will appear on an upcoming soundtrack. The song was originally written for the demo that got the band signed to Flip Records in 1997, but ended up being omitted from the group's 1998 self-titled debut and the follow-up, "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage".

COLD's upcoming record, "Year Of The Spider", is due on April 29 through Geffen Records. "Year Of The Spider" was recorded in part at Bay 7 Studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Howard Benson (SEPULTURA, P.O.D., SKINDRED) and includes the track "Kurt", which was written as a tribute to late NIRVANA frontman Kurt Cobain.
