LIFE OF AGONY bassist Alan Robert has posted a brand-new trailer for his Wire Hangers horror comic book series. The new clip, which can be viewed below, features Robert's actual artwork from the series and a soundtrack produced by Josh Silver of TYPE O NEGATIVE.It had been previously stated that Robert would only write the series, but in a change of plans, he decided to illustrate the series as well. Commented Robert: "I came up with the concept for Wire Hangers about 15 years ago and have been refining the story ever since. Writing bits and pieces of it on tour, over the years. Sketching character designs for it on the back of lyric sheets and things like that. It's a long time coming and I have such a great feeling about it; seems like the timing is really right. Especially, with graphic novel stories taking over the box office and themes getting darker and darker, Wire Hangers fits right in." More news on when Wire Hangers will be released will be announced in the the coming weeks. LIFE OF AGONY will tour Europe this summer. Meanwhile, Alan's SPOILER NYC project will enter the studio to begin recording the follow-up to the band's "Grease Fire in Hell's Kitchen" debut (SOS Records/I Scream Records).
