LIBERTY N' JUSTICE: More 'Independence Day' Guest Vocalists Announced

Christian rockers LIBERTY N' JUSTICE, whose most recent release, "Soundtrack of a Soul", featured an all-star cast of guest musicians — including Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER),Sebastian Bach (SKID ROW),Stephen Pearcy (RATT) and Tony Harnell (TNT) — are back in the studio working on their follow-up effort. Described as a "full-production acoustic rock record," "Independence Day" will feature 12 "all-star singers" on 11 songs. The CD will once again be produced by Mike Layne and is scheduled for mid-2007 release. The band has issued the following update on the project:

"LIBERTY N' JUSTICE's new CD, 'Independence Day', will be released later this summer, It features a host of guest vocalists and guest musicians including Jani Lane (WARRANT),John Corabi (ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE),Jack Russell (GREAT WHITE),Jaime St. James (WARRANT, BLACK 'N BLUE),Jamie Rowe (GUARDIAN, CRUNCH),Ted Poley (DANGER DANGER),Kelly Keeling (TSO),David Raymond Reeves (NEON CROSS),and Mark and Shannon Hovland (HOVLAND).

"At this time we would like to announce the addition of Shawn Pelata (LINE OF FIRE),as he adds his vocals to the song 'My Sacrifice'. The song was written by Nikki Dimage (LINE OF FIRE),Justin Murr, and Pelata. The track was produced by AOR great Kevin Chalfant (THE STORM, SHOOTING STAR, TWO FIRES) and was recorded at Chalfant's studio in Illinois. The track also features Dimage on guitar, Alby Odum (DANIEL'S WINDOW) on guitar, Chuck Giacinto (FINAL QUEST) on keyboards and Chalfant on background vocals."
