3 LEGGED DOGG Shoots 'Give And Take Away' Video

April 17, 2007

The members of one of the more promising hard rock supergroups to come along in recent times, 3 LEGGED DOGG, recently took time out of their busy schedules to shoot the inaugural video, "Give and Take Away", from their debut album, "Frozen Summer", for Perris Records. Shot in Los Angeles, CA, the clip was directed by Raz, who has worked with a wide variety of renowned artists — the DWARVES, JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, and CHERRY ST. Additionally, the clip was edited by Allison D. Gill (who has worked with Rusty Cooley, DISTANT THUNDER, AZRAEL'S BANE, MAGISTRAL) at Diamond Recording & Productions, Houston, TX. The video is set to premiere soon on the "Rocknation" TV program.

Comprised of five gentlemen that need no introduction to the hard rock masses — ex-QUIET RIOT guitarist Carlos Cavazo, ex-RAINBOW/DIO bassist Jimmy Bain, ex-BLACK SABBATH/DIO drummer Vinny Appice, ex-BONHAM singer Chas West, and DAVID LEE ROTH guitarist Brian Young3 LEGGED DOGG issued their debut album late last year. The video was shot just prior to Appice taking part in the sold-out tour by HEAVEN AND HELL (a reunion of the "Mob Rules" and "Dehumanizer"BLACK SABBATH lineup — which also includes singer Ronnie James Dio, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler). The band hopes to play their first live shows ever some time later this year. "I really enjoyed working with the band," explains Raz. "Carmine Appice [Vinny's brother] dropped in and gave some great input and it added to the video."
