LEATHERWOLF To Be Rejoined By Bassist PAUL CARMAN For European Tour Dates

October 7, 2007

Legendary Orange County, California metal band LEATHERWOLF will be rejoined by bassist Paul Carman for its upcoming European dates in November. "Paul lives out in Colorado these days but he's part of the family so it's good to have him back on board for this European run," the group writes. "It will be the first time since spring 2003 when we played with HALFORD at The Grove in Anaheim that the classic LEATHERWOLF lineup is performing together on stage!"

The upcoming shows will be the band's first European dates since reuniting with original lead vocalist/guitarist Michael Olivieri and guitarist Carey Howe earlier in the year. The reconvened triple axe attack will headline Germany's Keep It True festival and is playing an additional half dozen select dates in Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and Italy.

LEATHERWOLF's acclaimed 2006 studio comeback album, "World Asylum", featuring CRIMSON GLORY vocalist Wade Black, has just been released by Dynamo Productions for the South American market. A reworked version, titled "New World Aslyum", with returning frontman Michael Olivieri on lead vocals and Carey Howe on additional lead guitar, is scheduled for an early fall release via the band's NIL8 label. Danish studio whiz Jacob Hansen (ROB ROCK, VOLBEAT, COMMUNIC) is once again handling mixing duties. A Hansen rough mix of the track "Behind The Gun" can currently be heard on the band's MySpace page.
