LEATHERWOLF Frontman Reports On BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival

June 27, 2006

LEATHERWOLF frontman Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES) has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"A bit of news from the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Germany. it was put together well. Things went very smooth. It was about 4,000 when LEATHERWOLF started and an estimated 20,000 at peak WHITESNAKE time! When it was our turn, we nailed it in song after song! LEATHERWOLF stalked the stage with prowess and aggression! We did a mix of previous LEATHERWOLF classics along with [songs] off the 'World Asylum' record (Massacre Records),which were also recieved well and were just plain raw and heavy! It was all just too cool! I had a chance to meet incredible people such as the mighty Ripper (Scream Machine) Owens. Way cool! Dave Meniketti (Y&T),Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH),Jason Bohnam, David Coverdale, ANVIL, FLOTS AND JETS! My friends in RAVEN! I am just a big metal fan getting autos like I was 18 again! How cool is that?!"

LEATHERWOLF's new album, "World Asylum", was mixed by noted Danish knobtwiddler Jacob Hansen (ROB ROCK, COMMUNIC, RAUNCHY) and marks the debut of Wade Black, guitarist Eric Halpern (ex-DESTINY'S END, HELSTAR),and bassist Pete Perez (RIOT, SPASTIC INK) alongside original members, guitarist Geoff Gayer and drummer Dean Roberts. Two songs off "World Asylum""Derailed" and "Dr. Wicked (Rx O.D.)" — have been uploaded at this location.
