'Learn To Play Chickenfoot' Instructional DVD: More Details Revealed

February 10, 2012

Lick Library, the world leading supplier of guitar lesson DVDs, has just released "Learn To Play Chickenfoot", including over two hours of guitars lessons for this rock supergroup that includes the awesome skills of guitar god Joe Satriani.

Who better than former Joe Satriani pupil, Danny Gill, to teach you the five CHICKENFOOT tracks. The DVD provides an easy way to learn Joe's riffs and solos will help you develop an arsenal of licks and techniques. Each riff and solo is played both slowly and then up to tempo, and explained note by note.

Featured on "Learn To Play Chickenfoot" (RRP £23.99) are five high-octane tracks from both of their albums. From the first album comes the bluesy "Soap On A Rope", "Down The Drain" which captures CHICKENFOOT's unique sound and the darker "Oh Yeah" which builds and explodes then falls down again before rising through the guitar solo. Then Danny takes a look at the ZEPPELIN-esque "Big Foot" and works his way through the slamming barre chords combined with the super heavy licks of "Last Temptation" from their more recent second album.

Danny Gill is a co-author of the Musicians Institute "Rock Lead Guitar" series. His songs have appeared on numerous TV shows, including "The Osbournes" as well as motion picture soundtracks such as "Insomnia" and "Under Siege".
