LAST CRACK Schedule Radio Appearance, Shop New Demo

Reunited Midwest hard rockers LAST CRACK will make an appearance this Thursday, Feb. 26 at 10:00 p.m. Central Time on www.gimpradio.com. Their first new song in over 10 years, "Siren Song", will be premiered.

LAST CRACK's current lineup consists of the original line-up from the "Sinister Funkhouse #17" (1990) and "Burning Time" (1991) CDs except for drummer Phil Buerstatte. New drummer Chris Havey is actually from the second incarnation of the band ("Runheadstartscreaming" era, circa 1993-94).

LAST CRACKHavey, Paul Schluter (guitar),Todd Winger (bass),Buddo (vocals),and Don Bakken (guitar) — are currently shopping a four-song demo recorded at Sleepless Nights Recording Studios in Madison. "All the music was recorded live in the studio in an all-night session and Buddo overdubbed the vocals a few days later," the band write on their web site. In addition, the group have begun mixing songs from a 2002 reunion show for an upcoming live CD.
