LAKE OF TEARS Sign With NOISE RECORDS

October 8, 2003

Sweden's LAKE OF TEARS have officially signed with Noise Records.

"We are proud to announce that successful band LAKE OF TEARS has signed with Noise," the label said in a statement. "The original line-up has come together again to prove that they're still one of the most impressive bands in the modern metal scene. Recordings for the next album are scheduled for early 2004."

LAKE OF TEARS have already received several gig offers, but have decided to hold off on touring activities until after the new album has been recorded.

LAKE OF TEARS' fifth full-length album, "The Neonai", was released a year ago through Black Mark. It was recorded with producer Ulf Wahlberg at Stockholm's XTC studios, and featured return guest appearances by former TIAMAT/DISMEMBER guitarist Magnus Sahlgren (who also appeared on 1999's "Forever Autumn") and vocalist Jennie Tebler (who also guested on "Lady Rosenred" off 1997's "A Crimson Cosmos").
