LACUNA COIL: 20th-Anniversary Concert In London To Be Recorded For 2018 Release

2018 marks the twentieth anniversary of LACUNA COIL's debut. To celebrate this special date, LACUNA COIL has announced a very special show: "Nothing Stands In Our Way", a one-night-only exclusive performance, set to take place January 19, 2018 at London, England's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

It will be a unique extravaganza and truly exceptional event that is not to be missed. Apart from a career-spanning set, you will be able to enjoy LACUNA COIL songs never played live before. The show will be filmed and recorded for a release later in 2018.

LACUNA COIL commented: "We are very excited to celebrate our twentieth anniversary with an exclusive live show on January 19th in London! London is a very special city for us — it welcomed us with open arms when we started twenty years ago and we feel it's the perfect place to invite our fans from all over the world to celebrate with us. As for what will happen… that's a surprise; you'll have to come and see for yourselves!"

LACUNA COIL has joined Dutch symphonic metal giants EPICA on the North American leg of the band's "The Ultimate Principle" tour. The month-long September trek marks the band's first U.S. tour dates in over a year, as they continue to support "Delirium". Joining LACUNA COIL and EPICA on "The Ultimate Principle" tour are INSOMNIUM and ELANTRIS.

LACUNA COIL's Andrea Ferro recently told the Impact metal channel that the band's fans will have to wait at least a couple of years for the follow-up to 2016's "Delirium". "Next year's gonna be twenty years of LACUNA COIL, so first we're preparing some surprises for next year, and then after that maybe we'll start working on a new record," he said. "So I don't think there will be a new record at least until 2019."

LACUNA COIL in December released a new song called "Naughty Christmas". The front cover and font were all created by bassist Marco "Maki" Coti-Zelati.

"Delirium" entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 33 with first-week sales of just over 13,000 units — nearly all from pure album sales. The set followed the No. 27-peaking "Broken Crown Halo", which also opened with around 13,000 copies back in 2014.
