KUNVUK: New Video Released

February 12, 2012

"Where Orchidectomy And Mastitis Street Meet Is Why I Will Die", the new video from Sydney, Australia-based metallers KUNVUK, can be seen below. This is the third and most ambitious music video from the independent metal band so far. Shot across eight different locations, stretching across thousands of kilometres, culled from over 200 individual clips and taking 10 months to compile, the epic nine-minute music video was directed by Luis Barra, the band's bass player.

KUNVUK is currently working on the follow-up to its debut album, "Immute:Jackals", which is expected to be released in May.

"Immute:Jackals" was recorded, engineered, mixed and produced by the band's lead guitarist/vocalist David Hart and mastered by Rick O'Neil (FAITH NO MORE, GRINSPOON, BOB DYLAN) at Turtlerock Mastering.

Recorded at the band's own Shadow Mekanik Studios, "Immute:Jackals" was released as a two-disc, DVD-sized, eight-panel digipack with 24-page booklet. The first disc contained 12 new compositions rallying from the brink of insanity to the pinnacle of clarity. Coupled with this was a second disc which contained the reconstructed, re-recorded, remixed and remastered version of the band's demo EP, "The Gone Mekanik Anticipation Demonstration".
